Description

A watching brief was held during the redevelopment of a site at the junction of Victoria Place and Eld Lane. "Trenching revealed three east-west wall foundations of a Roman building fronting the south side of Insula 37. No Roman floor levels were evident in the undisturbed sections of the trenches".<1>
