Description
A watching brief was maintained during the construction of an extension to 19 Oxford Road (11 flat lets). No significant features were recovered. "A 0.9 metre thick layer of topsoil covered a light brown clay loam which extended down to the natural which is an orange brown gravely sand lying at a depth of 1.1 metres from the surface".<1>
