Description
Four pieces of Roman pot from 13 Oxford Road, 1963, part of Calver Collection. Small pot of Roman colour coated ware Ht 0.075. Buff clay, black coat. Small foot, one groove on shoulder. All base and half of side. Old No 938, from 13 Oxford Road 1963 (COLEM 1965.105). Also Roman Grey Ware bowl Ht 0.075 diameter 0.25. Rolled rim inward sloping sides. Restored Old No 1037 (COLEM 1965.83). Roman Grey ware cup Ht 0.095 d. 0.115, slightly burnished, small foot, carination overted rim, ridge at junction of rim and body, complete section and about 2/3rds of body, repaired Old No 1041 (COLEM 1965.91). Roman sherd of buff ware (rim) with applied roundel Old No 1069 (COLEM 1965.96).<1>
