Description
Roman Amphora (height 0.76), Buff clay, soft rounded body, 2 reeded handles, one intact, one repaired. Base missing, rim broken. Found standing upright a few inches below surface in footpath to North East of Lexden Tumulus enclose near fence by Eastern Electricity Board.<1>
