Coin (As) of Vespasian, found at south east corner of the house No 1 Hospital Gardens at a depth of 4ft, in black soil beside a heavy Roman foundation. <1> (Please note there is some confusion over the location of 'Hospital Gardens', it was the site of Lords Land, which is the vicinity of the Essex County Hospital but may or may not relate to the current 'Hospital Road' )
