Description
Roman coin of Hadrian Augustus AD134-138. Found in back garden of 173 Butt Road by UASF Officer during WWII. Coin unusual as no parallel could be found 'The reverse side is odd as there is no lettering that I can see. The obverse side is perfectly acceptable. Around the head of the Emperor is the legend : HADRIAN AVE COS III PP.<1>
