Description
MARKS TEY BROOK ROAD 1. 5214 The Old Rectory TL 82 SE 10/26 II 2. C16 or earlier with later additions. Complex house comprising a T-plan with an additional range parallel to the wing, and constituting the front elevation. The old T-plan timber-framed and plastered with ridge gabled, peg-tiled roofs with eaves and 3 red brick chimneys. Hipped at end of stem range, frontal range of painted brick. The first storey of this has 3, small-paned hornless sashes - of which the central one is narrow. Ground storey with central door having glazed Regency styled leaf under Arabesque porch with hollow-conoid lead roof. Windows left and right are 3 part sashes with 2 mullions and small panes centrally and in flank lights. South elevation has a semi-circular bow window with 3 pairs of 6/6 paned sashes.
