Description
DEDHAM HIGH ST REET 1. (north side) 5214 Shakespeare House 23.6.52 TM 0533 26/25 GV II* 2. C16 house with later additions, attics and cellars, timber framed and plastered with pegtiled roofs. Front has 4 facade-gables all treated with roughcast and exposed timbers. Ground floor shop windows beneath a shallow pediment decorated with trefoiled cusping within spandrels, said to have come from Boxted Church - but more probably Gothic. Some Cl7 internal detail.
