Description
DEDHAM HIGH STREET 1. 5214 (north side) Dale Brook (formerly listed as Dalebrook House) TM 0533 26/45 23.6.52 II* GV 2. Timber framed house fronted with gault brick circa 1780 stone-coped. Parapet before ridged and gabled roof clad with Cornish slates. Two storeys and 5 bays with front door between 2 fluted Tuscan columns of timber, with a flat entablature. Four small-paned sash windows on the left, under straight gauged arches, and 5 matching sashes on the first storey. Formerly the home of Raymond Erith, who enlarged one ground storey room, and designed 2 of the existing fireplaces.
