Description

BOXTED OLD HOUSE LANE 1. 5214 TL 93 SE 3/98 Priory House II GV 2. C18 and earlier on L-plan west and south elevations in red brick Flemish-bonded, roofs peg-tiled with eaves and troughing ridged and hipped. Three red brick chimney-stacks, 2 in rear slope and one on wing. Range of 3 double hung sashes, small-pane on first storey south elevation, with stucco, arches beneath dentilled brick eaves cornice. Central door on ground storey with elaborate Victorian leaf in wide wooden case which is reeded and has an open pediment on consoles. One sash each side to match first storey all in concealed boxes. The east wall of the north wing has a pair of sliding sashes, and cast iron oval, decorative wall anchors - probably of the early C19. Listing NGR: TL9976830775
