2. Dated on rainwater head 1734, probably by James Deane. Large C18 red brick house, 2 storeys and attics, the roofs tiled, 2 hipped dormers on the north side. The front has a grey brick panelled parapet topped by a heavy wood cornice. 6-window range of double hung sashes, glazing bars to ground floor windows, rusticated architrave to doorway, 6-panel door, fanlight, flight of steps with handrails to door. Good plasterwork remains over the staircase. Garden room at rear mounted on pillars.
