Description

1. EAST HILL 995 (South Side) Nos 16 & 17 No 17A TM 0025 SW 6/44 24.2.50. II GV 2. Built early C16. C17 wing at rear. 2 storeys, cellars, timber framed and plastered, the roofs tiled. The upper storey projects on the front on brackets - one original curved, one late Cl6 shaped. The timber framing is exposed and there are five 2-light original windows (now blocked) under the eaves with moulded frames and mullions. Other windows are C18 and C19 and the ground floor has 2 small shop hay windows. The chief feature of the front is the fine C16 door of 12 moulded panels with lozenge shaped enrichment in each panel. No 15 to 22 (consec) form a Group Listing NGR: TM0033225244
