Cast iron sign post, with distinctive semi-circular parish plate finial. Manufactured by Maldon Iron Works during the 1920s/30s. Both of the arms have been broken off (now stubs). The signpost was adopted onto the Local List by the Local Plan Committee on 24/08/20. An example of a historic, and locally manufactured, road sign, one of a small number of surviving examples in the Borough. Although the arms are missing, they could be restored.
