Authority Colchester Borough Council

Description

Two-storey yellow brick stable block with pantiled roof, to the north of and earlier than the dwelling and probably early 19th century (it appears to be depicted on the 1841 Tithe Map). The windows all have arched brick heads but all the windows have been replaced and enlarged (now with uPVC). There is also a central circular window. The building was adopted onto the Local List by the Local Plan Committee on 24/08/20. Although the windows have been altered, the building is largely unaltered and the style, form and construction of the building is easily identifiable.
