Description

La Baguette Jaggers' 2007 list, Study Area 2, p.37 Three-storey red-brick front with slate roof, c.1800-50. Well-preserved front. A pair of original 16-pane sash windows on each of the upper floors. Well-preserved early shop front on the ground floor - late C19-early C20. The building was probably built as a pair of mirror-image houses whose ground-floors were later combined to form a single shop. The entrance to the shop preserves the original entrance into the right-hand house. [RS] The brick front conceals a timber-framed building of C16 or earlier. [RS]
