Description
DEDHAM HIGH STREET 1. 5214 (south side) Shead of Dines (formerly listed as House and shop (Shead & Dines) opposite south end TM 0533 26/14 7.4.65 of Princel Lane) II 2. C17/18 type of timber framed cottage with 2 storeys and attics. Roof ridged and gabled and pegtiled. Frame exposed on side and street frontage, 4 bays long with plain red brick chimney stack roughly central, primary wall bracking. Front elevation has a pair of small paned casements in its gable, a pair of small paned sashes on first storey and a semi-hexagonal bay with small paned sashes (clear in lower halves) on ground storey. This bay has a flat leafed roof that continues as a doorcase hood, on one console.
