Description
EAST DONYLAND CHURCH STREET 1. 5214 Row Hedge Church of St Lawrence TM 02 SW 13/23 7.4.65 II 2. Parish church, by William Mason in 1838. An octagonal church of white brick in the lancet style. Groups of 5 stepped lancets on 3 sides, entrances on 2 other sides, and 3 lancets above the other. Monument to Elizabeth Marshall (1613) presumably from the earlier church. Reredos of 1682 said to originate from St Paul's Cathedral. Grey slate pyramid roof.
