Description
GREAT HORKESLEY THE CAUSEWAY 1. 5214 Danbury Cottage TL 93 SE 3/55 II 2. C16 cottage. Of 2 bays and one storey with attics exposed timber frame, roof steeply ridged and hipped, thatched. Central red brick chimney stack, outshut on north with very low eaves. Round-headed timber doorway right of centre with later window inserted. One original window now blocked up. Existing windows modern casements. First storey has 2 eyebrow dormers. A low thatched range extends from north end.
