Description
GREAT TEY THE STREET 1. 5214 Stables at Warren's Farm' TL 82 NE 6/44 II 2. Circa 1700 stable building of red brick in Flemish bond, with blue-glazed headers. Two storeys and 2 bay: aligned roughly east-west. First floor in east bay open, not in west bay where mangers in situ. Roofed as of 5 bays in oak with lap-dovetailed collars, wind braces at both gables and side-purlins. One tie beam at centre of length with brick nogged stud partition beneath it and a plastered partition above it. Timber studded gables at east and west ends. One door in north wall, 2 half-doors in south wall. Roof ridged and pegtiled.
