LITTLE HORKESLEY KINGS ROAD 1. 5214 TL 93 SE 3/14 Little Horkesley Hall II* GV 2. C18. North front gault brick and stone on rectangular plan with Giant Doric portico and flat entablature, central to front. Anthemion frieze, dentils, fluted columns 9 in number, with 4 pilasters against wall. Double doors with glazed 8 pane tops and panelled bases placed L of centre. Two blanked windows to west, 3 Regency sashes of 3 vertical parts on first storey behind portico and one pair modernised 10 pane casements to west. String at first floor level, mutuled and pegged, window heads of gauged gaults in straight arches. Three pairs of matching windows on ground storey to west of doors. Extension part demolished to west stone dentil cornice all round parapet. East front of house with semi-circular bow window 2 storeys high, with 3 part bowed sashes, of 3 panes over 6 panes. Patera on stucco cases, dentilled cornice. Sashes left, and right, 3 over 4 pane on first, 6 over 6 pane on ground storey. Rusticated stone plinth, mutuled first floor string. (East front of house).
