Description
WIVENHOE COLCHESTER ROAD 1. 5214 TM 02 SW 13/51 Wivenhoe Park, Stable block 1.6.73 II 2. Formerly the stable block, built by Hopper in 1848, now incorporated in modern extensions for Essex University, which link with the main house. Red brick, Tudor style, 2 storeys, slate roof, shaped end gables, central wood clock and bell turret over central carriage arch, 4 window range of one and 2 light casements (some modern) with hood moulds.
