The following building shall be added
DEDHAM LAMB CORNER TM 03 SW 4/72 The Thatched Cottage II House. Probably C17 timber framed 3-room lobby entrance plan refenestrated in C20. Exterior rendered on plinth. Hipped thatched roof with off central brick chimney stack. Front elevation has dormer with C20 wooden casement and similar casement below and smaller casement to right. Doorcase with side lights. Rear elevation has plank door fixed pane C19 casement and C20 casement. Traces of old pargetting remain. Interior: Much of the timber frame is exposed inside including wall studs, chamfered axial beam and unchamfered joists in central room. The closed truss between the centre and left hand (NW) rooms has cambered tie-beams; brick axial stack against the other partition and partly blocked fireplace heating -centre room. Right hand (SE) room inaccessible; left hand room has later axial partition. Roof ceiled but collars and possible clasped side purlins are visible.
