Part stuccoed brick and part rendered timber framing with two parallel ranges of gabled slate roofs. All of 2 storeys. The late C19 front range has gable end stacks and a single storey, hipped roofed extension on north end with slate roof. The front elevation has, on its first floor, 3 double hung sash windows, each with a central vertical glazing bar. Slate lean-to covers 2 canted bay on ground floor and central entrance door. Bays have similar double hung sash windows. C20 greenhouse on south gable end. The late C15 rear range has off-centre chimney stack and bargeboards, those to north with cusped soffits. The rear range is in part asymmetrical with catslide lean-to extension to link with later house. The south gable has 2 square paned casements, on first floor, and a 12 pane double hung sash and hooded door, on ground floor. The west elevation has 2 six pane double hung sash windows on first floor with moulded architraves. One, lower set, 4 pane window and 2 doors and later casements on ground floor. North elevation has pointed arched casement window in gable with small panes. Below this is a 16 pane double hung sash and C20 single light window. Ground floor has one 12 pane double hung sash and small C20 casement. Small lean-to roofed link block with later front range. Small in-line timber framed house of late C15, formerly with open hall of 2 unequal bays. Eaves line has been raised for lower pitch slate roof, leaving old smoke-blackened crown post roof largely in-situ below. Roof has simple longitudinal braces and was formerly hipped over service end to south. Floored parlour/solar at north end with interrupted tie beam construction and evidence for bench fixings below. Service end was originally open to roof and has C16 inserted floor with moulded bridging joint and minor joists some now halved and redistributed. Early C17 inserted floor in former hall and stack probably contemporary. Some old windows and doors on original east external wall now lead into passage between the two builds.. Front has simple contemporary staircase with turned baluster.
