Description
WIVENHOE BETHANY STREET 1. 5214 The Black Buoy Public House TM 0321 30/43 II GV 2. Probably C16 late. Street frontage of gault brick with ridged gabled and pegtiled roof with moulded wooden eaves. Two 3-part small-paned sashes on first storey. First floor band and a pilastered return at the south-west. Two doors, once 3, central one blocked; a 3-part sash with small panes in fourth place, all under pointed segmental arches.
