Description
WAKES COLNE MIDDLE GREEN 1. 5214 Pump Hall TL 83 SE 1/6 II 2. A late medieval house, probably C16. Timber framed and plastered. Two storeys with 3 gabled dormers on rear slope, and one gabled dormer on the front slope. Ground storey front has 4 modern casements. The end of a binding-joist protrudes through the south-west wall, proving the insertion of a first floor within an open hall.
