Description
TIPTREE CHAPEL ROAD 1. 5214 TL 91 NW 16/56 Chapel II 2. Mid C19 in grey brick with red brick dressings. Cruciform plan, with modern tile pitched roof. Gabled facade, with 3 entrance doors. Centre doors are larger and break forward with steep pitched pediment over. Lancet arches throughout. Side lights with lancet heads. Tripartite window over with lancet heads. Decorative bands in red brick, and red brick arch over upper window. Side windows also, 3 lights with lancet heads. Circular plaque stating: "Goodman's Green Meeting - Tiptree Chapel founded 1664 - built 1750 rebuilt 1864".
