Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 and 1984-5, a timber-water main was discovered running east-west along the north side of a street (MCC733). It was probably a continuation of a main found 80m to the east (EF523). Two shallow grooves next to the main may have been the remnants of two other water-mains since removed.<1>
