Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 and 1984-5, the probable location of an east-west footway was discovered situated between three buildings (MCC783, MCC784, MCC785) and an east-west street (MCC733). Unfortunately the remains of the footway were destroyed by the digging of foundations for a later building.
A later footway (see MCC1076)was provided along the front of two buildings (MCC921 and MCC922).<1>
