Full Description

16th century house.

DOE survey of No 38 East Street. Grade II. Much altered small C16 house with gable to the front. The upper storey projects in the front. Ground floor and west wall have been faced with brick. C19 windows and ground floor bay window. <1>

RCHME survey of 38 East Street. House 'was built probably late in the 16th century and has a later addition at the back. The upper storey projects in front. Inside the buildings an original moulded ceiling beams' <2>
