Full Description

RCHME survey of Cross Keys Inn. Located at the east corner of Long Wyre Street, 'it has at the back a small early 16th century block with a projecting upper storey on the E side. Inside this wing are some original moulded ceiling beams and joists. The cart entrance has old timber-work with curved brackets.'<1>

Excavation records for the site would indicate that the structure was demolished c.1971.
