Full Description

RCHME survey of 56 West Stockwell Street. It 'was built in the 16th century and has an extension of c1700 at the back. The upper storey projects at the E end with curved brackets' <1>

DOE survey of No 56 West Stockwell Street. Grade II. This also includes No 2 Walter's Yard. C16, 2 storeys and attics, the roofs tiled. Two gables on the east front, the north one smaller , and the upper storey projects at 2 different levels with a moulded bressumer on the main block. Extension of circa 1700 at the rear. House reconditioned and had modern windows. <2>
