Full Description

Laver noted that a trench cut in Mr Frost's garden (rear of 9 North Hill) revealed foundations running North-South.<1> Laver notes, 'Mr A.W. Frost excavated in this garden and several walls and pavements were found, the latter being principally of red tesserae, in some instances mixed with buff, and some opus signinum'.<2><3>
