Full Description
RCHME Survey of 8 North Hill. The building 'has a modern front block. At the back there are additions, extending eastwards; the middle one is of the 16th century and has a projecting upper storey on the N side; the other two are of the 17th century the easternmost being of brick. There is a blocked five-light window in the S wall of the middle building' <1>
DOE survey of 8 & 8A North Hill. Tall narrow C18-C19 timber framed and plastered building of 3 storeys over large carriage way. Two windows on the upper floors, marginal glazing. At the rear there is a C16 wing the upper storey projecting on the north side. <2>
