Full Description

During excavations at Culver Street between 1981-2 and 1984-5 (ECC337), an east -west ditch was discovered within a cultivation plot (MCC827) situated to the east of the former via principalis (MCC733). The ditch seemed to mark the limit of an area of deeper cultivation. It turned eastwards at its north end.<1>
