Description

Survey by RCHME of 6-12 Queen Street, Colchester. The range of four houses 'is of red brick, with a band-course between the storeys. It was built c1698 the date on a small panel near the middle of the front. The S part of the building retains its original modillioned eaves-cornice but the rest has a later parapet. One doorway has an original architrave with egg and tongue ornament. Inside the building is some 17th century panelling and an original fireplace with a moulded architrave'.<1>
