Description

DOE survey of No's 23 & 23A Maidenburgh Street. Grade II. C17 or earlier building with wing extending east at north end. Two storeys and attics, timber-framed and plastered, the roofs tiled. The upper storey projects on the west front on 2 levels, and the north part has 2 original shaped brackets. Some C18 double hung sash fenestration, No 23A has two large 3-light double hung sash windows with glazing bars, on north side. Two ground floor oriel windows.<1>
