Description
DOE survey of No's 11 & 12 East Street. Grade II. C16 origin with C17 alterations and additions. 2 storeys, timber-framed and plastered, the roof tiled. Some timber-framing exposed and the upper storey projects on the front. Two light leaded lattice casements to ground floor, 3 light above. All modern. Modern doors. Reconditioned in 1936 by the Colchester Civic Society (plaque on the front). <1>
