Description

RCHME survey of No's 38-39 East Hill. The house was built probably in the 15th century. At the back is a 16th or 17th century extension. The upper storey projects on the north front on curved brackets and also on the east side of the extension. Inside the building at the back of the front block was an original doorway with a four centred head; the head is now lying loose in the garden.<1>
