Description
A watching brief was held during the construction of an office block for the post office at the Clarendon Way site. Much of the redevelopment site was stripped of its topsoil. Nothing could be seen in the sections open at the time of the visit and nothing of archaeological significance was found in the spoil heaps. The clerk of works and workmen reported that nothing had been found.<1>
