Description
A watching brief was undertaken during the replacement of the eastern side of East Stockwell Street with a new surface of panel bricks. "Only the eastern side of the operation was seen although the whole southern end of the street was replaced. The existing surface was removed to a depth of 0.35m. The area observed stretched down the west side of 125 High Street as far as 1 East Stockwell Street." Nothing significant was observed.<1>
