Description
A watching brief was held during the laying of a new sewer pipe along Balkerne Passage (part of the same scheme as ECC1313). Three sketch sections were drawn at different points. Roman deposits lay within 0.35 m of the modern surface and one section indicated floors within a Roman building of some kind.<1>
